Steven J. Gibbs offers a unique approach to law practice as both an experienced legal practitioner and business professional. Mr. Gibbs began his professional career as a public relations representative and then licensed business broker. Mr. Gibbs was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in 1999 and thereafter served as a judicial law clerk in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and then as an associate attorney for a Minnesota insurance defense law firm. Mr. Gibbs thereafter worked as an in house real estate negotiator for Target Corporation and then as corporate counsel for Civix, LLC, and then North American Properties in Florida. Mr. Gibbs was admitted to the Florida Bar in October 2007, and thereafter served as an associate attorney for a Fort Myers law firm, Roberts & Engvalson, P.A., where he focused in wills, trusts and estate planning, real estate, and family law. Mr. Gibbs was also instrumental in starting and operating a successful Fort Myers based commercial office cleaning company.

Mr. Gibbs opened the doors to the Gibbs Law Office in January 2009 and he is committed to providing client centered legal services. Mr. Gibbs brings his diverse experience to assist individuals in protecting their hard earned resources in the focus areas of wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, small business planning, real estate, foreclosure defense, bankruptcy, and civil litigation.

Mr. Gibbs is an active member of the bar in both Florida and Minnesota and also is a member of the Lee County Bar Association. Steve Gibbs serves his community as an active member of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Gibbs is also active as a pro-bono attorney for Florida Rural Legal Services.
